UnCharted Service

UnCharted recently completed an extensive refurbishment of our boat, a 44’ Trojan. The original 50 year old teak-over-plywood deck was removed and replaced with a fiberglass-plywood deck. This required all new substructure (ribs and stringers) of a new design, which is now more stiff and robust than the original. The anchor locker was redesigned and rebuilt, including the support structure for the forward air conditioner. Two new hatches were installed in the deck, along with a new windlass and bow pulpit. A new white oak rub rail was manufactured on site and steam bent to shape. The deck was then covered in Stazo Marine Deck, a cork-based deck covering. We also had UnCharted upgrade the AC electrical wiring, replace the swim platform support structure, and install new hardwood flooring in the salon. Throughout the process, their shipwright, mechanics, and electricians performed with efficiency and a high level of craftsmanship. We were impressed by the attention to detail, and the careful planning and execution. This was a large complex job spanning more than a year. The final results exceeded all of our expectations.

The staff was amazing! We were there for a few weeks waiting for parts and we couldn't ask for better service. Kaidy is a gem and all of the guys working on the boat were knowledgeable and friendly. We are very happy with the work they did and how we were treated during our stay.

We trust Unchartered services with every detail needed for our 43’ Silverton diesel boat. Their mechanics & staff are highly knowledgeable, trustworthy, & caring. We appreciate everything they do for us & love them as our boating family!
